One of the sponsors on NPR just now had a tagline something like: "...maker of fine wines inspired by California's adventurous spirit." I'm not sure that "adventure" is really what one seeks in a bottle of wine. *shrug*
And, while I'm on taglines.... Microsoft's is: "Your potential inspires us to write software to help you reach it. Your potential---our passion." That always gets me into "...who do boys like they're girls who do girls like they're boys...". But, it's just occuring to me now that the tagline has a misplaced modifier. Our potential inspires them to write software to help us reach the software they write?
