I was just browsing through my Netflix movie recommendations. I found this one interesting:
Talking Heads: Stop Making Sense because you enjoyed: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blue Velvet, and Brazil.
Why, yes. I would like Talking Heads: Stop Making Sense. I'm not sure I see the relationship to those three movies, but I'll take your word for it.
Also, I stumbled upon Ninja Cheerleaders on TV last night. It was predictably bad, though not as bad as you'd think from the title (and George Takei was awesome). They threw in a Blade Runner reference. I'm not sure though whether that's good or bad, because they really mangled the quote more than they had to to fit in.
They were each being interrogated by the police detective. He was looking down at the papers he had about one of them:
Him: Eleven Eight Seven Hunterwasser
Her: That's my house.
Him *looks up, lazily*
Her: Where I live.
Him: Nice place?
Her: It's okay.
Yay! Blade Runner. But, it would have been far better
if they'd have only replaced
s/the hotel/my house/.
